Feeling at home starts with peace of mind. Every property we build comes with a ten-year structural warranty and two-year aftercare as standard. This means we’ll take care of something if it goes wrong. From a gift on moving day, through to a dedicated support manager that will take care of any issues, the Mersea Homes Aftercare team will ensure you’re well looked after.

The story of Mersea Homes began in 1947, when Glennie Cock started building on Mersea Island. Today, his grandson Stuart Cock holds the title of Managing Director, and has helped grow the business for over 35 years, together with his father Trevor, who is Chairman of the company and has been at the forefront of the business for over 60 years. As a truly family-run business, we’ve been shaping and serving our local communities in Essex for generations, and will continue to drive our values of quality and family for years to come.
Our customers place great value in the experience we bring to them through our developments. The home-buying process can be full of ‘what ifs’ and worries, but Mersea Homes purposefully builds homes so people can avoid that. We believe in building well and that’s exactly what we do.

Mersea’s very own resident Interior Designer. With a passion for detail, Charlotte is all about creating a vision and bringing this to life. Dedicating her time to putting the final touches to our homes, she ensures each space is beautifully arranged and expertly finished.
